About me
Currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California. My life experiences have been my greatest teachers. For a long time, I carried around hurtful experiences, which only made life more difficult. It took time for me to realize that it was up to me to change and not allow those experiences define me. I was ready for change, I just didn’t know where to start. The great thing about therapy is, it helps us to understand experiences that keep us or those around us stuck and how to change our beliefs and learn from them. My motivation to become a therapist grew from experiencing life-changing benefits that therapy can provide and I know it can help others. My approach to therapy is collaborative and supportive and if you are ready for change, therapy is effective. When we are able to realize our part in our struggles and have the willingness to do something about it, then we can begin to experience life in a different way.
My professional experience includes providing mental health therapy in community mental health with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have been in private practice since 2017. Additionally, I work as an EAP clinician for a hospital. I am trained in Trauma Focused CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems and trauma informed therapy.
I have been licensed in California since 2017.
